Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim is the Deputy Governor of Anambra State. He was elected alongside Governor Chukwuma Soludo in 2021 and re-elected for a second term in 2025.

He is a medical doctor and public administrator who has been involved in healthcare, community development and public service. As Deputy Governor, he supports the Governor in the administration of the state and undertakes responsibilities assigned to him by the Governor.
