Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo is an economist, academic and former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria. He became Governor of Anambra State in March 2022 and was sworn in for a second term in March 2026.

Before entering state politics, Soludo had a distinguished career in economics and public policy. He served as Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria from 2004 to 2009 and previously held senior positions at the World Bank and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. He is a former professor of economics and former Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters.

As Governor, he leads the state government and the State Executive Council and is responsible for the overall direction of government policy and administration.
