Chiamaka Nnake is a finance and public policy professional who serves as Secretary to the Anambra State Government.

Before her appointment as SSG in March 2026, she served as Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning under the Soludo administration. She previously worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Meristem Securities Limited, covering pharmaceutical and consumer goods companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

She holds an MBA from Lagos Business School and graduated with First-Class Honours in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University. She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the ACCA National Advisory Committee and has passed Level I of the CFA programme. She has also completed executive programmes at Harvard Kennedy School and is pursuing a PhD in Public Policy.
